Kartik Verma joined SUNY Plattsburgh in the Fall of 2019, after completing his Ph.D. in Economics at the University of Utah, where he was researching the determinants and consequences of improved sanitation toilets in rural India. His research interests are at the intersection of economic development, public health, and labor economics.
