Teaching & Technology Grants
Grants Available to Faculty
Software Tools Grants
Software Tools Grants offered through Technology Enhanced Learning provide faculty with an opportunity of getting a desktop copy of development software that’s required for a research or teaching project. See the link to the left for further details and application forms.
Educational Technology Grants
These grants underwrite major initiatives in teaching and learning. Grants are competitive, as funds are limited. The highest priority for funding is for proposals that use technology to enhance and improve departmental curricula.
- Deadline for applications: TBA
- Projects selected for funding will be scheduled for implementation during next fiscal year
Application: Proposals must be submitted using the application form, which is mailed out by the Dean of LIS in the spring. All proposals must be signed by your department chair/director and your dean. The proposal may be scanned (with signatures) and then submitted electronically (in Word or PDF format) to [email protected] If more than one proposal is being submitted by a department, the proposals must be ranked according to the priorities of the department. Prior to any final funding decisions, a staff member from Library & Information Technology Services will be in contact to discuss your proposal in more depth. This conversation will be primarily focused on getting a firm sense of the technology components and potential costs of the project.
For information, please contact the Dean of Library and Information Technology Services.
