Instruction & Reference Services
Support & Services for Students, Faculty & Our Community
We provide support services and information literacy instruction for students, helping to prepare them to excel in today’s information-overloaded world. We teach the required LIB190 course and administer its proficiency exam. We provide reference services to students, including in-depth research consultations via our Make an Appointment with a Librarian service.
We assist faculty with teaching and library-research needs. Feinberg librarian liaisons work with each academic department to provide a customized program of support, including library instruction sessions for classes.
Our Special Collections provides access to archival materials on the northern New York State counties of Clinton, Essex, and Franklin, and the Adirondack and Champlain Valley regions.
