Helpdesk & ResNet

Got tech issues? It’s a fact of life. But with the Helpdesk, there’s no need to panic. You’ve got work to do, and “unscheduled downtime” is the last thing you need when that paper is due tomorrow. Service-friendly staff are qualified to diagnose your problem and handle most repair work. Their expertise is legendary on campus, and rumor has it that some satisfied customers have needed to be reminded that they are, in fact, mere mortals.

Services at a glance

  • Triage. Triage is what we do best — figuring out what the problem is, who should handle it, and when it will get fixed.
  • Configuration. We can tune your system and software so they work well together and allow you to work well with them.
  • Repairs. Our technicians are certified for most vendors on campus and for some that are not used on campus.
  • Special Programs, such as our Cardinal Computer Care Services and our ResNet program, which delivers computer networking and support to the residence halls.
