About the Small Business Development Center
The SUNY Canton Small Business Development Center at Clinton Community College is part of a statewide network of business assistance centers supported by the State University of New York and the Small Business Administration. The New York State SBDC (NY SBDC) is accredited by America’s Small Business Development Centers (ASBDC).
The SBDC is charged with assisting North Country entrepreneurs, small business, and industry through advising, training, and research. Additionally, the SBDC provides needed services to manufacturers, women, veterans, minority, and physically challenged individuals, or on businesses impacting distressed and targeted areas. Counseling services are free and confidential.
By assisting new and existing small business firms, the SBDC directly contributes to local, regional, and state economics, promoting stability and growth.

Directions
The SUNY Canton SBDC is now located on Clinton Community College’s campus, in the historic Pines Cottage. As you come up Clinton Point Drive, the Pines Cottage is a small white building, located in the rear of the Stafford Center parking lot.

Traveling By Car
NORTH: Take I-87 South, take Exit 36, following signs to the college, turn left onto Route 22, turn left onto South Junction Road. At the end of South Junction Road, turn left onto Route 9. CCC is approximately 2 miles on the right.
SOUTH: Take I-87 North, Exit 35. Following signs, turn right onto Bear Swamp Road (Route 442), follow to end and turn left onto Route 9, CCC is approximately 3 miles on the right.
