American Red Cross Non-Credit Adult/Child/Infant/AED CPR Courses

Successful completion of the course will certify participants in American Red Cross adult/child/infant CPR/AED. Any Plattsburgh State group or organizations that would like to arrange CPR/First Aid/AED training for their members, contact Scott Johnson.

Enrollment and Registration Information

Who May Enroll?

Open to Plattsburgh State students, faculty and staff only.

How to Register

• Register at 312 Memorial Hall
• Pay course fee Cost: $40.00
• Come at scheduled time to Memorial 303
• No refund if an individual enrolls, but does not show up.  

Who Needs CPR Certifications?

• Nursing students are required to have Adult/Child/Infant CPR/AED before their clinic experience.
• CDS graduate students are required to have Adult CPR before their clinic experience
• NYS requires all individuals coaching youth and school teams to have Adult CPR/AED
• EOP and Upward-bound summer counselors need Adult CPR/AED and First Aid

Section 1 Adult/Child Infant CPR/AED

• Course date: September 22 (1:30 - 5:00 p.m.)
• Register by: September 19

Section 2 Adult CPR/AED and First Aid

• Course date: October 6 (1:30 - 5:00 p.m.)
• Register by: October 3 

Section 3 Adult/Child/Infant CPR/AED

• Course date: November 17 (1:30 - 5:00 pm)
• Register by November 14

Spring 2014 Adult/Child/Infant CPR and Adult CPR/First Aid Non-Credit

Section 1 Adult/Child Infant CPR/AED

• Course date: February 16 (1:30  - 5:00 p.m.)
• Register by: February 13

Section 2 Adult/Child Infant CPR/AED

• Course date: April 6 (1:30 - 5:00 p.m.) 
• Register by: April 3

Section 3 Adult CPR & First Aid

• Course date: May 4 (1:30 - 5:00 p.m.)        
• Register by: May 1
• Course needed by Upward Bound, EOP Summer Counselors and Fitness Center Staff
