First-Year Experience Activities

Clubs and Organizations

Take a look at the many Clubs and Organizations sponsored by the Student Association, or SA for short. These Clubs and Organizations cover all interests: academic, religious, cultural, recreational, Hall Councils, and Honor Societies.

Late Night Fun

The Center of Student Involvement and Housing and Residence Life present the "Weekend at Burghy's" on Friday and Saturday nights.  Join everyone in the Angell College Center at 9 PM for a wide range of fun events.  Past activities have included musicians, comedians, dance parties, board games, trivia competitions, and video games.  Look for free refreshments and great give away prizes too!

Student Association

Your Student Association plans and sponsors many activities for you. And be sure to check out Sunday Night Movies On a Big Screen - held in the College Center.

Support Our Teams!

We sponsor 19 intercollegiate teams that compete against other SUNY colleges and teams at the Division III level. Attend any of the many events held here on campus and rally for our teams!

Special Weekends on Campus

After you've been here on campus for a few weeks, its time for family and friends to visit for Family Weekend.   Homecoming Weekend is another special weekend, packed full of activities. Join us in the many events - you too will be an alumnus of SUNY Plattsburgh.
