Special Parking Information for Fall 2008
Campus Constuction
Due to construction projects this fall, the campus will lose 95 spaces in the parking lots located behind Champlain Valley and Banks Halls (parking lots #27 and #28).
Parking Map A (see below) shows the area of construction in detail. In order to reduce inconvenience to faculty, staff and students, the following changes will be in effect through the fall semester:

- The remaining spots in lots #27 and #28 will be divided evenly and reserved for faculty/staff and off-campus students.
- Twenty-five additional spaces for faculty will be created in front of Yokum Hall.
- Lots adjacent to and behind Hudson Hall will be open to faculty for the duration of the fall semester or until construction on the new science building begins.
- During September, up to 20 parking spaces behind Redcay will be off line. The entrance to the lot on Court Street will become two-way and access to the building will be through the back door nearest to Court Street.
- Off-campus student parking behind Sibley Hall (in the section closest to George Angell Drive) will be converted for use by parking shuttle riders (faculty, staff and visitors) and off-campus students.
- From this newly designated Sibley Hall lot, a parking shuttle will run Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The shuttle will make continuous loops around the campus on the quarter hour. See Parking and Shuttle Service map for the shuttle route and drop-off/pick-up locations.

When the demolition of the old hospital is complete in the late fall, that area will be converted into a parking lot. The campus will gain a total of 23 new parking spaces and the other lot designations will return to normal.
