All degree candidates must wear cap, gown and tassel or military dress uniform in order to participate in commencement exercises. We also ask you to wear appropriate attire underneath your gown. The general rule is light weight, non-restricting clothes. Men do not have to wear jackets, but should wear a shirt and tie. You are requested not to wear shorts, overalls, sandals or sneakers.
Cap, Gown and Tassel
Academic regalia will be available at the College Store beginning in early May for Spring Commencement and early December for Winter Commencement. Individual items may also be acquired separately.

- Bachelor's Degree Attire (Purchase): $35.00 (Approximately plus tax)
- Master's Degree Attire (Rental): $55.00 (Approximately plus tax)
- Honor Cords (Purchase): $18 (plus tax)
The College Store will also have other items for purchase, including diplomas frames and flowers, on Commencement Day at the College Store in Saranac Hall and at its booth in the Lobby of the Field House.
