Are you planning to participate in Spring Commencement? Are you getting excited about graduating? We are.
SUNY Plattsburgh will host the Cardinal Graduation Expo on Tuesday, March 25, from 12 to 6 p.m. in Warren Ballroom B, Angell College Center. If you're planning to graduate in May 2008, this is a great opportunity to purchase caps and gowns, diploma covers, commencement announcements, class rings, diploma frames and other gift items relating to Commencement.
This is also a special opportunity if you have not yet filed your Application for Diploma. If you submit your application at the Cardinal Graduation Expo, your name will be listed in the Spring Commencement Program.
There's a lot going on at the Expo.
You will be able to purchase assorted graduation items through the College Store at the Grad Expo including:
- graduation regalia (caps, gowns)
- announcements
- college rings
- diploma frames
- prints
- portfolios
Vendors will be here that day to meet with you about your specific needs. Information about photographs taken during commencement will also be available for pickup.
NEW THIS EXPO: Several restaurants will be in attendance to take reservations for Commencement Day.
You'll also be able to meet with members of several offices on campus to get answers to questions, including:
- Registrar's Office
- Graduate Admissions
- Career Development Center
- Student Financial Services
- Plattsburgh College Foundation
- Plattsburgh Alumni Association
As a special incentive, those students attending the Cardinal Graduation Expo will have their names included in a special giveaway. Make sure you are included by attending.
Not graduating in May, but planning for the Winter 2008 Commencement Ceremony? Stop in anyway.
While this is geared for students graduating May 17, you can do some early planning for that big day next December. We are also planning for the Winter Cardinal Graduation Expo in October 2008. If you have a suggestion, please let us know.
Unable to attend the Expo? We got you covered.
Students who cannot attend the Cardinal Graduation Expo may purchase graduation items at the College Store during regular business hours. So, if you are unable to obtain your cap and gown prior to the ceremony, you will be able to pick them up as late as the morning prior to the ceremony at the College Store.
If you are not on campus during the spring semester due to student teaching, study abroad, internships or other circumstances and want to order other things ahead of time, you can order your commencement items from the College Store via phone (toll-free 888-PSU-GIFT), fax (518-561-5505 online http://www.mypsubookstore.com/ or by mail: College Store, 101 Broad Street, Plattsburgh, NY 12901.
