Carolyn Delcore

Areas of Expertise: Career counseling, career planning, development of an effective job search strategy including the tools and skills inherent in that process , i.e., resume and cover letter writing, and interviewing.
Ms. Delcore began her career in the Career Development Center at Plattsburgh State in 1972. She holds a Master's degree in Education from the Pennsylvania State University in Counseling/Student Personnel. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Communication (Interpersonal) Arts from Michigan State University. Ms. Delcore was born and raised in southeastern Michigan.
Sally Urban

Ms. Urban joined the Career Development Center at Plattsburgh State in the fall of 2000. She holds a Master's degree in College Student Personnel from Indiana State University. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Communications from University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point. Ms. Urban was born and raised in central Wisconsin. She enjoys singing and a variety of cultural activities. She is currently the advisor of the Plattsburgh State Gospel Choir.
Barbara Barry

Ms. Barry began her career at the Plattsburgh State Career Development Center in 1993. She has returned to Career Development after a two-year interval coordinating workforce development programs for youth in the local community. She holds a Master's degree from Columbia University Teachers College in Adult and Higher Education/Student Personnel Administration. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy from SUNY Binghamton. Ms. Barry was born and raised in New York City.
Maureen Lavigne

Areas of Expertise: Office management and duties including recruitment, credentials, correspondence and assisting students, faculty, and employers with all career service related issues and questions.
Maureen has worked for the Career Development Center at Plattsburgh State since 1985. She assists all students and employers who come to or call the Center. Before coming to the Center she worked in the Admissions Office for four years. She graduated from Hudson Valley Community College in 1979 with an A.A.S. degree in Legal Secretarial Sciences. She is also a certified Aerobics Instructor at the Plattsburgh State Fitness Center, and teaches aerobics classes during her free time.
