Every on-campus student will receive unlimited local calling and 400 minutes per month for long distance calls (not including international calls). When the 400 minutes are exceeded for the month, a $.05 per minute charge will be incurred. All long distance calls will be billed in one-minute increments and any unused minutes for the month WILL NOT be carried forward to the following month. This calling plan is only available to on-campus students for the Fall and Spring semesters.
- No monthly fee
- Local calls: Unlimited usage
- Long distance calls: 400 minutes per month with a $.05 per minute charge once the 400 minutes are exceeded.
Off-campus students, summer session, and winter session rates:
- No monthly fee
- Local calls: $.10 for the first 3 minutes, $.02 every additional minute
- Long distance calls: $.10/minute
International Calling Rates
International calling rates are subject to change. For information about international calling rates, please stop by our office or log into the TELWEB SYSTEM at telweb.cc.plattsburgh.edu (Please note that calls made to an international cellular telephone number may result in a higher cost per minute rate than what's stated.)
Calling Areas
Long distance includes continental US, Alaska, and Hawaii. The local calling area of Plattsburgh includes the towns of Chazy, Dannemora, Ellenburg Depot, Peru, Saranac, and West Chazy.
