What We Do...
We are full-time professional business advisors with the knowledge and experience to provide entrepreneurs with expert counseling and training through the North Country center in Plattsburgh. Advisors undergo rigorous professional training to keep their business knowledge up-to-date and their counseling skills sharp.
The NYS/SBDC at Plattsburgh is a partner in the premier business-assistance organization in New York State that provides expert management and technical assistance to start-up and existing businesses in Clinton, Essex, Franklin, Hamilton, Warren and northern Washington Counties.
We work closely with other economic development agencies, faculty and students at SUNY Plattsburgh, as well as representatives from private industry and business to focus resources on assisting small businesses and entrepreneurs.
