Meet an EOP Student
Racheal CitukHometown: Scotia, NY "EOP provided me with the academic and financial tools that I was not fortunate enough to have prior to coming to college. They have also given me a home away from home. I was nervous and fearful of what to expect from college life, but EOP welcomed me with open arms and open hearts. The EOP staff, who I now consider family, has been there since day one. They have acted as role-models and a huge support team. I am very thankful and appreciative for all that they have done to make my future a successful one!" |
Jamela GibsonHometown: Brooklyn, NY "EOP is like a family. Starting college can be overwhelming, but the EOP staff is always there to help. Starting with Summer Institute, the program helps students advance." |
James SwitserHometown: Plattsburgh, NY "EOP helped me to become more socially involved and helped me break my boundaries, particularly during Summer Institute." |
Vertricia HarewoodHometown: Bronx, NY "EOP means the world to me. If it wasn't for EOP, I don't know how I would have adjusted to college. EOP is like one big family. They opened my eyes to new things. EOP is more than opportunity; EOP is the future for students who didn't think they could go to college." |
