Economic Development Specialist
Victoria Zinser Johnson, CEcD, AICP, is an Economic Development Specialist at the Technical Assistance Center at the State University of New York College at Plattsburgh (TAC-SUNY Plattsburgh). Ms. Johnson is a Clinton County native and holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of New Hampshire in Environmental Science and a Master of Regional Planning from the University at Albany.
Ms. Johnson is an accredited Planner by the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP), and a certified Economic Developer (CEcD) by the International Economic Development Council (IEDC). She is also an adjunct lecturer with SUNY Plattsburgh in the Geography Department. At the Technical Assistance Center Ms. Johnson provides project management for a variety of economic and community development projects, carries out research and interfaces with the community to meet informational needs in these disciplines.
Ms. Johnson previously was employed as Vice President of The Development Corporation Clinton County, a regional economic development organization. She has also worked as Executive Director of a non-profit community development agency in Keeseville, New York and as a Planner in both the public and private sectors in Palm Beach County, Florida.
