2:12 AMMargaret Street Patrol responded to a call for assistance from the Plattsburgh City Police on Margaret Street. Officers helped disperse a large unruly crowd and transported a prisoner for the Plattsburgh PD. A Service Report was filed.

4:30 AMHood Hall Patrol responded to a report of a disturbance outside of DeFredenburgh Hall. While there a resident student was found intoxicated and out of control. The Plattsburgh City Fire Department ambulance was called and the resident was transported to CVPH. A Service Report was filed. College charges were forwarded.

4:32 AMAdirondack HallStaff from the Central Heating Plant reported that someone had broken a window in the stairwell of Adirondack Hall. The area was secured and taped off. A Crime Incident Report was filed.

8:35 AMField HousePatrol found that someone had spray painted graffiti on the outside walls of the Field House. A Crime Incident Report was filed.

11:58 AMOff Campus University Police received a report that a student had lacerated a finger while on a college-sponsored field trip. Service and Accident Reports were filed.

12:13 PMField House Patrol responded to a report of an employee injury at the Field House.Service and Accident Reports were filed.

9:21 AMAdirondack Hall Patrol responded to a report of vandalism in Adirondack Hall. Someone threw some furniture against a lounge wall damaging it. A hallway wall was also damaged. A Crime Incident Report was filed.

10:46 AMParking Lot 13 A resident student reported someone entered their unlocked vehicle and removed the speakers from their stereo. The resident found the speakers nearby in the woods. A Crime Incident Report was filed.

3:35 PMWhiteface Hall Patrol responded to a reported smoke detector activation. A resident student hit the detector with a ball and activated it. A Service Report was filed.

9:00 PMDraper Avenue A resident student reported that a male had exposed himself while in his vehicle. Similar events have been reported to the Plattsburgh City Police. A Crime Incident Report was filed. Investigation is continuing.

3:32 PMMason Hall The Plattsburgh City Police requested that patrol locate an individual and transport him to their station. Patrol located the individual at Mason Hall and transported him to the Plattsburgh City Police Station. The individual is not affiliated with the college. A Service Report was filed.

8:10 PMAngell College Center A resident student reported that someone stole her textbook from the Sundowner Café. The book had been left unattended. A Crime Incident Report was filed.

11:30 PMMacomb Hall Patrol responded to a report that a resident student was having difficulty breathing. The individual was transported to CVPH via ambulance. A Service Report was filed.

12:00 PMOffCampus University Police received a report that members of the Zeta Beta Tau Fraternity had admitted to a college official that they had a keg in their fraternity house on 4/22/05 and 4/23/05. Service Report and College Charges filed.

9:22 AMUniversity Police University Police received a warrant for an individual who failed to appear in Plattsburgh City Court to answer a Traffic Summons. The individual is not affiliated with the college. A Service Report was filed.

10:00 AMRedcay Hall University Police located a student at the request of a New York State Police Investigator. The individual was advised to contact the State Police Investigator. A Service Report was filed.

11:53 AMMacomb Hall A janitorial supervisor reported several incidents of vandalism and criminal mischief that have occurred over the past school year. A Crime Incident Report was filed.

1:47 PMMason HallA resident student reported the unauthorized use of her personal phone billing number. A possible suspect has been identified. A Crime Incident Report was filed. Investigation is continuing.

9:29 AMService Garage Patrol and the Plattsburgh City Fire Department responded to a reported fire alarm in the Service Garage. A smoke detector was activated, cause unknown. A Service Report was filed.

10:32 AMParking Lot 2 A Clinton County Child Protection Services employee reported an incident in Lot 2 involving a juvenile. A referral to the Plattsburgh City Police Juvenile Officer was made. A Service Report was filed.

12:39 PMHarrington Hall A resident student reported their bicycle missing from the front of Harrington Hall. A Crime Incident Report was filed.

2:04 PMParking Lot 2 Patrol received a report that someone was putting unauthorized flyers on vehicles parked in Lot 2. A Service Report was filed. Investigation is continuing

2:30 PMOn CampusAn individual wanted on a warrant from the Plattsburgh City Court was brought to Court for arraignment by University Police. The individual was a guest on campus. A Crime Incident Report was filed.

4:06 PMOff CampusA off campus student reported that they lost a credit card in Montreal. The card was used prior to being cancelled. A Crime Incident report was filed.

6:23 PMAdirondack HallA resident student reported some personal items missing from their room. Another resident has been observed with some of these items. A Service Report was filed. Investigation is continuing.

11:48 AMUniversity Police A company fraud investigator contacted University Police with regards to a possible fraudulent computer transaction. A Crime Incident Report was filed. Investigation is continuing.

12:51 AMWilson HallPatrol recovered a bicycle that a student reported stolen. The bicycle was put in the police storage pending proof of ownership. A Service Report was filed.

3:01 AMMacDonough HallDorm staff reported an individual trying to enter rooms on the first floor of MacDonough Hall. The individual was located and found to be intoxicated. He was visiting the campus and became lost. A parent was notified and responded to the station to pick the individual up. A Service Report was filed.

3:48 AMRugar StreetPatrol responded to a report of an altercation in front of the Angell Center. An individual not affiliated with the college attempted to start a fight with a resident student. The individual was transported to his home and released to a parent. A Crime Incident Report was filed.

11:07 PMSibley Hall Patrol and the Plattsburgh City Fire Department responded to a fire alarm at the Third Age Daycare. An employee cooking activated the alarm. A Service Report was filed.

3:41 PMParking Lot 18 A student reported being harassed by another student. Officers spoke to the individual and advised them to stop. A Service report was filed.

7:07 PMUniversity Police University Police received a warrant issued by the Plattsburgh City Court. The warrant was for an individual arrested for Trespass previously who failed to appear in court. A Service Report was filed.

9:59 PMBanks Hall Patrol and the Plattsburgh City Fire Department responded to areported fire alarm in Banks Hall. Someone burnt popcorn in the lounge.A Service Report was filed.

10:17 PMBanks Hall Patrol and the Plattsburgh City Fire Department ambulance responded to a report of an ill resident student. The individual was transported to CVPH. A Service Report was filed.

12:23 AMFeinberg Library A student reported that someone took their textbook from a table in the library. The book was left unattended for a short time. A Crime Incident Report was filed. The Campus Bookstore has been advised.

12:00 PMWhiteface Hall A resident student reported that someone stole three textbooks from his room on 05-06-05. The room had been left open and unattended. A Crime Incident report was filed. The College Bookstore was notified.

1:56 PMAngell College Center An off campus student reported that someone stole her cell phone on 05-08-05. The phone had been left unattended in the Angell Center Blue Room. The student notified the service provider. A Crime Incident Report was filed.

4:44 PMFeinberg Library A resident student reported that someone stole her digital audio player and PSU ID/Cardinal Cash Card from a carrel in the Feinberg Library. The items had been left unattended in the carrel. The student cancelled the Cardinal cash account. A Crime Incident Report was filed.

8:14 PMoff campusAn off campus student reported that a former friend has been physically harassing her boyfriend. The reporter also stated that her former friend had called her several times after she had asked him not to contact her. A Crime Incident Report was filed.

May 10, 2005

2:08 AMWilson Hall A resident student reported that two resident students have been harassing her. The reporter stated that she thought the two had poured beer under her dorm room door and that a third resident student had urinated on her door.The reporter also stated that she had received a threatening message via www.thefacebook.com . A Crime Incident Report was filed. University Police identified the parties involved. College Charges filed.

5:17 AMMoffitt Hall Patrol and an ambulance responded to a report of an intoxicated student at Moffitt Hall. The student was transported to CVPH via ambulance. A Service Report and College Charges were filed.

8:35 AMLot 18 Patrol confirmed a report of a vehicle with a broken window parked in lot 18. Patrol notified the owner. A radar detector cord was missing from the vehicle. Victim is a resident student. Crime Incident report filed.

12:27 PMWilson Hall A resident student reported that her roommate had made telephone calls on her personal billing number and had taken her hair iron without permission. Patrol spoke with the individual and she agreed to pay for the calls at Telecommunications. The hair iron was returned. The victim wanted no additional action taken. Incident Report was filed.

7:34 PMAdirondack Hall A resident student reported that another resident student had bumped her as they passed each other in the hallway of Adirondack Hall. The individual accused of bumping the reporter denied the allegation. The individuals were advised against future incidents. A Service Report was filed.

10:26 PMKent-service area A resident student reported that an unknown motorist struck his parked vehicle and left the scene. A Crime Incident and Accident Reports were filed.

8:10 AMAdirondack Hall A staff member reported that some carpet runners were removed from Adirondack Hall. The event occurred on Monday, May 9th. A Crime Incident report was filed. Investigation is continuing.

11:00 PMWhiteface Hall Patrol took a report of a property dispute involving a dorm refrigerator. A Service Report was filed.

May 12, 2005

7:26 AMHarrington Hall Patrol responded to a report of graffiti written on the walls in Harrington Hall. Several vehicles in Lot 14 also had writing on them. The graffiti was written in a washable marker. A Crime Incident Report was filed.

11:15 AMOff Campus University Police arrested an individual for Public Lewdness for an incident that was reported on 5/2/05. The individual is not affiliated with the college.

12:17 PMParking Lot 18 A resident student reported that someone entered their vehicle while it was parked in Lot 18. The student was unsure if any items were missing. A Service Report was filed.

2:15 PMFeinberg Library A resident student reported that someone removed their textbook from a table in the library. The book was left unattended. The College Store was notified.A Crime Incident Report was filed.

5:42 PMParking Lot 18 A resident student reported someone entered their vehicle and removed a CD player. Some gas may have been taken also. A Crime Incident Report was filed.

3:07 AMMoffitt Hall Patrol and CVPH ambulance responded to a report of an ill student. The Plattsburgh City Fire Department ambulance was also called to the same area for a student with a head laceration. The ill student was transported to CVPH. The other declined medical treatment. A Service report was filed. College Charges forwarded.

5:16 AMMacomb Hall Patrol and the Plattsburgh City Fire Department responded to a reported fire alarm in Macomb Hall. Someone had burnt popcorn in the kitchen. The system was reset. A Service Report was filed.

7:30 AMOff CampusPatrol was asked to locate an off campus student by a parent. The individual was located and asked to contact the parent. A Service Report was filed.

1:32 PMOff CampusThe owner of a local restaurant reported that a group of students left their establishment without paying their entire bill. They were contacted and returned to satisfy the bill. A Service Report was filed.

3:00 PMWilson HallA resident student reported that someone removed a textbook from their room in Wilson Hall. A Crime Incident Report was filed.

7:55 PMAdirondack HallPatrol responded to a report of a lounge window being broken in Adirondack Hall. A suspect was identified and contacted. The individual stated he put his foot through the window accidentally while fooling around in the lounge. A Crime Incident Report was filed. College Charges forwarded.

11:40 PMBanks Hall Patrol and the Plattsburgh City Fire Department responded to a reported fire alarm in Banks Hall. A resident student cooking in a suite kitchen set off the alarm. While there, officers found a candle burning. A Service Report was filed. College Charges forwarded.

10:47 AMParking Lot 18 A resident student reported their vehicle was broken into sometime in the past week. The CD player and a number CD's were taken.A Crime Incident Report was filed.

8:28 PMMason Service Road Patrol found a military mortar adjacent to Mason Hall. Patrol cordoned off the area. Mason Hall and the East side of Hood Hall were evacuated. The Chief of University Police responded to the scene. The Plattsburgh City Police, New York State Police and the Fort Drum Bomb Disposal Unit were notified and responded. The mortar was tentatively identified as an 81-mm practice mortar. The Bomb Disposal Unit arrived on scene at 1:50 AM on 05-16-05 and confirmed that it was an 81-mm practice mortar. The mortar was removed and the area was deemed safe. A Service Report was filed.

May 16, 2005

9:45 AMKehoe Building Patrol confirmed a report of a broken window on the third floor of the Kehoe Building. Patrol checked the area and was unable to determine what broke the window. A Service Report was filed.

2:47 PMdeFredenburgh Central Heating Plant personnel reported that an employee had accidentally activated the fire alarm system at deFedenburgh Hall while soldering pipe in the 34 suite. Patrol responded and reset the alarm. The Plattsburgh fire department was not called to the scene. A Service Report was filed.

12:00 PMUniversity Police A staff member reported that a camera was removed from her purse at the Field House during the morning graduation session. A Crime Incident Report was filed.

10:15 PMMacomb Hall While completing a foot patrol of Macomb hall, patrol located a sign that belongs to the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation. Patrol collected the sign. An official from the DEC was contacted and will pick up the sign. A Service Report was filed.

9:16 AMMoffitt Hall Patrol Responded to a reported fire alarm in Moffitt Hall. Steam in a laundry room, caused by maintenance staff cleaning the floor, activated the alarm. The fire department was not called. The system was reset. A Service Report was filed.

12:57 PMMoffitt Hall Patrol responded to a reported fire alarm in Moffitt Hall. A worker using a torch accidentally activated the alarm. The fire department was not called. The system was reset. A Service Report was filed.

2:07 PMSundowner Cafe. An employee reported having a verbal confrontation with another employee. Supervisory notifications were made. Human Resources advised. A Service Report was filed.

11:54 AMdeFredenburgh Hall Patrol responded to a reported fire alarm in deFredenburg Hall. Staff working in the lobby activated the alarm. The fire department was not notified. A Service Report was filed.

5:32 PMRugar Street Patrol approached a female on Rugar Street near the bus stop who appeared to be upset. The individual was identified. A taxi was called for the individual. A Service Report was filed.
