Training
The Governor's Office of Employee Relations Online Learning Center  contains useful information for New York State employees including self-study courses and other resources employees may find helpful in performing their jobs. 

NYS & CSEA Partnership for Education and Training's Skills for Success Courses  - Courses are scheduled from mid-October through mid-December across the state and are available at no cost to employees or your agency. With supervisory approval, employees can apply for courses scheduled near their worksite.

SUNY NEWS is a system-wide electronic release of newsworthy items related to important issues, events and accomplishments of the campuses and employees in the State University of New York system.

Home page for the City of Plattsburgh contains information on and links to local schools, government and businesses as well as information on the Champlain Valley, tourism and the local economy.

New York State Agencies

New York State Governor's Site contains news, schedules, history and special events involving the Governor and his wife and the Lt. Governor. Has links for contacting the Governor as well as information on key programs and legislation and links to other government agencies. 

Home page for the New York State Senate contains a senators page with links to their individual sites as well as SenNetTV, an online broadcast of the day's Legislative Session. You will also find bills and laws, press releases and a "Senate Highlights" section.

Home page for the New York State Assembly contains a "what's new" section and a searchable index of Assembly and Senate Bills.  Find your assemblymember by zip code and visit their webpage.

The New York State Department of Health  website contains health proxy information and form, as well as information about healthcare and physicians, statistics on diseases, and vital records.   

Home page for the New York State Commission on Public Integrity contains information on financial disclosure requirements and ethics laws and rules. You can also take the online course "Ethics and NYS Employment" which explains the guidelines established by the 1987 Ethics in Government Act

United States Government Sites  

The White House has links for the President, First Lady, Vice President or his wife and contains the latest news, as well as information about our government and history.

The United States Senate contains news, schedules, history and special events involving the United States Senate. Has links for contacting individual senators as well as a searchable index of current legislation 

The United States House of Representatives contains information about how laws are made and inacted and includes resources for searching laws, bills and roll call votes.

The official website for The United States Social Security Administration allows you to calculate your retirement benefits online and answers questions about disability, medicare, and replacing your social security card.

Home page for the United States Internal Revenue Service contains news and information on the IRS as well as the ability to search for and print out specific IRS forms and get answers to questions on tax related issues.
