Plattsburgh awards more than $4 million in scholarships to undergraduate students. About one in every five undergraduates has a scholarship of some sort, either funded by the college or foundation. Scholarships do not have to be repaid and are primarily awarded to students based upon academic achievement.
Unless otherwise specified, the following scholarship programs are only available to matriculated, undergraduate students pursuing their first bachelor's degree.

| Transfer Recognition | $3,000 | If you are an out-of-state student, you can use our scholarship calculator to find out if you are eligible. |
| Community Service | Varies | The Community Service Scholarship allows students to get the full college experience while volunteering their time at local not-for-profit agencies in the Plattsburgh community. |
| Heisler Music | Varies | Recipients of the Heisler Music Scholarship are chosen for their performance proficiency and their potential to contribute to the Music Program. |
| Winkel Art | Varies | Recipients of the Winkel Art Scholarship are chosen for their potential to contribute to the Art Program. |
| Angell | $500 | Recipients of Angell are freshmen and possess talent, skills, or leadership experience. |
| First Year EOP Scholarship | $1,750 | Educational Opportunity (EOP) Scholarships are awarded to first-year freshmen students who are accepted into the EOP program based upon an economic and academic disadvantaged status. Recipients will only receive this award for the two semesters of their first year. |
