Québec Summer Seminar
The
Québec Summer Seminar (QSS) is the flagship program in the United States
for professors of Québec Studies seeking a deeper appreciation of contemporary
Québec. The QSS, a week-long experience convened in Québec, is purposely
designed to offer participants a holistic approach to the study of Québec
that incorporates historical, cultural, social, economic, commercial and political
perspectives. This seminar is a unique opportunity for U.S. and woldwide academics
who are interested and focused on Quebec to meet with and hear from leading
specialists on on e of the most dynamic communities in North America.
The 29th Québec Summer Seminar will be convened in Québec City from August 4-8, 2008. The seminar theme will focus on Québec, the Art of Living in North America: 400 years and beyond.
