SUNY Plattsburgh Now Taking Registrations for Summer Session

03:00pm EDT, 25 Apr 2013

PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. (April 25, 2013) – A summer class will use acting techniques to help teachers develop creative classrooms.

Another will teach students about the juvenile justice system and factors underlying delinquency treatment and prevention.

Acting in Teaching and Juvenile Delinquency are just two of the more than 200 offerings during SUNY Plattsburgh’s summer session. Others include Human Nutrition, Jazz History and Sociology of Women.

More than 100 of the selections are available online.

All summer session classes are guaranteed. Students who sign up can rest assured knowing that their classes will not be canceled.

Session A runs from May 28 to June 7. This two-week intensive session permits students to complete up to three credit hours by the beginning of June. Meanwhile, Session B runs from June 10 to July 12, and Session C, from July 15 to Aug. 16.

Students do not have to be enrolled in a degree program at SUNY Plattsburgh in order to take a summer course. For information, call 518-564-2100 or visit www.plattsburgh.edu/academics/summer/.
