How do I look up course reserves?
Select the Course Reserves option from the top menu of Feinberg Library's online catalog to search our reserve library. Search the listings for your course by entering the instructor's last name or course name (e.g., LIB102A) in the keyword search box.
How do I put materials on reserve?
Faculty can place materials in print or e-reserves by completing the Faculty Reserves Form and bringing reserve materials to the library.
Where are course reserve materials located?
All print and media reserve materials are located at the second-level Service Desk. You can place reserve books on your account for use in the Library for two-hours; videos and CDs may be used in the Library for three hours.
A valid Plattsburgh State identification card is required. Return reserve materials to the second-level Service Desk.
What kinds of materials are placed on course reserve?
Faculty members place items on reserve so all students have in-library access to course-related materials. Items placed on reserve include materials from Feinberg Library's collection as well as items made available by members of our faculty. Course-related reserve materials available at the second-level Service Desk are in various formats, such as DVDs, videos, CDs, audio cassettes, and books.
Can I take the reserve material out of the library?
Reserve materials are limited to in-library use, and the loan period is only two hours. Fines accrue at a rate of 50 cents per hour for overdue materials.
What equipment is available for me to view or listen to media materials in the library?
Media equipment is conveniently located on the third level of Feinberg Library, allowing you to view and/or listen to DVD, videos, CDs, audio cassettes, and records.
