Where is the drop box for LIB102 and LIB105 homework located?
The drop box is located near the entrance to the reference room on the 2nd floor of Feinberg Library.
Does the Library have computers available that students can use to write papers and do e-mail?
There are over 200 computers in Feinberg's main and extended computing lab and computer-based classrooms for student use. In addition, there are computers located in the Reference Room that are primarily intended for research but do have word processing and other software for your convenience.
How do I find the items my professor placed on Reserve?
Materials placed on reserve can be requested for your use at the 2nd level Service Desk. Search the Course Reserve section of Feinberg Library's online catalog to determine the call number. Provide the call number when requesting the item at the 2nd level Service Desk. A member of the circulation staff will locate the item and check it out on your library account. Most reserve items are limited to a two-hour loan period and can only be used in the library. You may check-out a maximum of two reserve items at one time. Reserve items incur overdue fines of 50 cents per hour/per item.
How do I find an article my professor placed on electronic reserve?
Electronic reserves items are available via the library web page using the Electronic Reserves link under the Quick Links heading. Your instructor will provide you with a password that is required to access the materials.
Can you help me locate an item that is listed as available in the catalog but is not on the shelf?
If you unable to find any item, please request assistance at the 2nd level Service Desk. Our staff will provide immediate assistance and will update the item status in the catalog if necessary.
Are copies of my textbooks available at Feinberg Library?
Most course textbooks are not available at Feinberg Library.
How do I find my way around the library?
Feinberg library has three levels. When you enter the main lobby, you are at podium level on the second level of the building. The first level is subpodium level and is on the same level as the Angell College Center. A detailed map of the building is available at various locations throughout the building.
