A Strategic Plan for SUNY Plattsburgh

The Strategic Plan (2009-2012) of SUNY Plattsburgh provides a framework for future program development, guides decisions within the college, and provides a broad focus for the college's strategic planning.

Consistent with our mission, the Strategic Plan incorporates information and ideas contributed by many members of the College. By describing several strategic directions and related objectives and action plans to help us accomplish our goals, the Strategic Plan addresses the means to enhance the college's reputation as a selective regional comprehensive public institution offering a high-quality and affordable education.

As a step toward realizing the success of the Strategic Plan, the plan calls for a concerted college-wide effort to improve several important aspects of our college that will have significant benefits to our students, faculty, and staff over the next three years.
