Who should apply?

The program is intended for students who are holding or who will hold an Associate's Degree in Criminal Justice by the time they begin. Students will enter at the junior-year level (as appropriate). Attendance may be on a full-time or part-time basis. Enrollments are limited.

What degree will I receive?

Students will earn a SUNY Plattsburgh Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) with a major in Criminal Justice.

Where will the courses be held?

All SUNY Plattsburgh courses will be held on the campus of Adirondack Community College in Queensbury, NY.

When does the program begin?

Suggested Course Sequence

* Students must have a total of 42 credits of 300-400 upper level courses. The required General Education courses will vary by student. Some courses are available online as web courses. Up to four (4) ACC SOC or PSY courses could be applied to the SOC requirements for the bachelor's program in criminal justice. Three (3) 300/400 level courses may be applied as transfer credits. Electives can also be in SOC or PSY.
