Leith Bardon
Serves as Coordinator for Recreational Sports Program and the Physical Education academic program in the Department of Sport and Wellness. She came to Plattsburgh State University in 1965 and promoted to associate professor in 1987. Mrs. Bardon earned a B.S. degree in Health, Physical Education, and Recreation from Slippery Rock State College and a M.Ed. degree from Pittsburgh University.
In her role as Recreational Sports Coordinator, Ms. Bardon administers: the intramural program, six sport clubs, open recreation in Memorial Hall and Sibley Gym, non-credit courses in CPR, lifeguard training and Red Cross instructor training, and a youth learn-to-swim program. As Coordinator of Physical Education, she chairs the Department of Sport and Wellness and coordinates the elective Physical Education program with two Minors.
Mrs. Bardon is an American Red Cross Instructor Trainer for CPR/AED, First Aid, Lifeguard and, Water Safety. In addition, she serves as an advisor for the Cheerleader and Kickline student clubs. She serves on the Faculty Senate Executive Committee and is Chair of the Faculty Senate Curriculum and Program Committee.

I am a junior majoring in Political Science and Latin American Studies. I have been a lifeguard for 6 years and a Lifeguard and CPR Instructor for 2 years. I grew up in Watertown, NY. David Layman
David is a sophomore from Saratoga Springs N.Y. He is an adolescent education major with a concentration in history, He loves to play hockey in his free time and his favorite team is the New Jersey Devils. He hopes to someday become a school principal and if I could live anywhere it would be Canada. He likes to work with people and hopes that under his leadership recreation users in Memorial and Sibley will have a positive experiences.

Shaun Etu
Shaun is a Junior from Fort Edward, NY. He is majoring in childhood/special education with a concentration in math. He is excited to take over as the Intramural Coordinator starting in Spring 2008. Under his leadership, he plans to provide a positive experience for all participants in intramurals. He loves to work with people and plans to do so in a fair and justified manner.
