High School: Played volleyball (3 letters) and basketball (4) under coach Theresa Schmidt at H.F. Carey…averaged 15 kills, five blocks and four assists during prep volleyball career…helped team win 2005 conference title…Unsung Hero Award…2008 team captain…all-conference in basketball, averaging 17 points, 12 rebounds, three assists and two blocked shots during her career…team MVP…two-year captain…received scholar-athlete award four times in both sports…National Honor Society…high honor roll…won numerous scholarship awards…played AAU Basketball for Long Island Lightning and Long Island X-treme.
Personal: Born Kristen Danielle Licata on June 11, 1990, in Long Island, N.Y….parents are Thomas and Anne…father played college baseball at NCAA Division II Adelphi…business marketing major, with a minor in international business.
