High School: Earned two letters under soccer coach John Galfaro at Centereach…had a solid senior year when he was named all-league, Top-25 Seniors to Watch in Suffolk County by Middle Country Times and was the team’s second-leading scorer…helped team to a league co-championship and appearance in the first round of 2008 state playoffs, scoring team’s only postseason goal…school finished second in the league and advanced to state quarterfinals in 2007…member of state's Olympic Development Program, as well as club soccer with Middle Country RoughRiders and Long Island Selects…also received letters in basketball (2), track and field (1) and golf (1)...National Honor Society.
Personal: Born Matthew Joseph Naboka on Dec. 11, 1991, in Port Jefferson, N.Y….parents are Peter and Eileen…hasn’t yet declared on a major, but aspires to coach and be a physical education teacher after graduation.
