2008 (Sophomore): Only SUNYAC player to earn All-America honors from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America, making the third team and one of three sophomores in the nation to earn the honor…also voted to the first team for both NSCAA All-Northeast Region and All-SUNYAC…anchored the SUNYAC’s best defensive unit that ranked nationally in shutouts (5th with a 0.63 percentage) and goals-against average (13th with a 0.57 average)…contributed two assists…started in all 19 games.
2007 (Freshman): Made an immediate impact on the Cardinals’ back line, earning NSCAA All-Northeast Region third team and All-SUNYAC second team accolades...helped team post NCAA- and school-best 18 shutouts and 0.20 goals allowed per game...played in 20 games, starting 19…SUNYAC All-Tournament...scored only goal of season in a 2-0 win at Potsdam (Oct. 17), helping Plattsburgh clinch SUNYAC tournament berth.
High School: Two-time soccer team MVP at St. Martin’s.
Personal: Born on Sep. 19, 1989 in Wertingen, Germany…son of Waldemar and Wieslawa Misiak…majoring in public relations.
