Cardinal Callers are students who connect with our alumni, parents, and friends to talk with them about the Fund and to update their contact information. The phone center, located on the ground floor of Hawkins Hall, is filled with excitement and energy Sunday-Thursday in the fall and spring with student callers.
Most people don't realize that tuition and fees account for only a portion of SUNY Plattsburgh's annual budget. Gifts to the Plattsburgh Fund create an essential bridge between tuition revenues and the actual cost of a Plattsburgh education, ensuring that all students have access to a quality education.
When you receive a call from one of our fantastic staffers, please take a moment to talk, find out what is happening on campus, share a memory you might have about your time here, and if you are able to please make a gift to the Plattsburgh Fund. You can feel good about the impact your gift will have.
Meet the CallersEach semester we are fortunate to have a great group of students on the phones.
Sophomore Samantha Abela of Redhook, N.Y., is a hotel, restaurant and tourism management major. She is the Mason Hall Council President and is active on campus in the Hospitality Management Club.
