The preliminary evaluation provides an approximate number of credits that will be accepted, your level of entry to the institution, and any specific sequencing issues involved with completing your major that might delay your graduation.

Once we have received your deposit, we will send you important information on housing, orientation, and registration.
You can pay your deposit online by logging in to your MyPlattsburgh account. Please read our Deposit Refund Policy.
The Admissions Office will complete an official credit evaluation once your deposit is paid. Your credit evaluation, called the Degree Works (DW) Audit, shows how all of your prior course work is placed in your new degree track at SUNY Plattsburgh, and what additional coursework is needed for graduation.
We encourage you to closely review your DW Audit, and notify the Admissions Office immediately if there are any discrepancies.
