Apply by Mail Admissions If you are completing a Common Application paper application, please be sure to include a $40.00 check payable to SUNY Plattsburgh Admissions Office to cover the application fee. To request a paper SUNY Application, please call (800) 342-3811. Once completed, you should forward the application to: SUNY Application Processing Center Step 3: Check Application StatusAfter you have applied for admission, you can check the status of your application to find out your decision and any items needed to complete your application. Step 6: Pay Your DepositIf you are accepted and decide to enroll at SUNY Plattsburgh, you'll need to pay a $250 deposit as a token of good faith.
You can pay your deposit online by logging in to your MyPlattsburgh account. Step 7: Review Your Credit Evaluation (The CAPP Report)The Admissions Office will complete an official credit evaluation once your deposit is paid. Your credit evaluation, called the CAPP Report, shows how all of your prior course work is placed in your new degree track at SUNY Plattsburgh, and what additional coursework is needed for graduation. We encourage you to closely review your CAPP Report, and notify the Admissions Office immediately if there are any discrepancies. For more information on the CAPP Report, click here.
