Interests and Hobbies: I stand by the universal law that sustains international marketing: "there are no ugly women in this world, only the lazy ones." I take my shopping as seriously as my finance exams. I also love diversity and ancient civilizations.

Why did you choose to come to Plattsburgh: SUNY Plattsburgh was the only school that stood out in its timely response to my inquiries and answered all my questions. Other schools just sent me to their websites to find answers; SUNY Plattsburgh responded to my emails with genuine insight. Also, SUNY Plattsburgh is a rare school that offers financial aid to international students.

What do you like best about Plattsburgh: The ISS office and the services it provides. My family was concerned about sending their only daughter to a new country. But the people at ISS made me feel like home; whenever I had questions or difficulties I could go to the office and get help, advice, and a welcoming atmosphere. In addition, Plattsburgh is a nice American town where you can enjoy safe campus life and concentrate on your studies.

Interests and Hobbies: I love to read, do crossword and jigsaw puzzles, visit new places, and meet new people. I also love learning about other people and their culture.

Why did you choose to come to Plattsburgh: For me, Plattsburgh was affordable, thanks to the generous scholarship that I received. The staff at International Student Services was very courteous in their correspondence with me, and they answered all my questions and addressed all of my concerns. Now being so far from home, they have become like a family to me, and for that I am truly grateful.

What do you like best about Plattsburgh: Plattsburgh is the perfect size. The environment is very conducive to learning. There are smaller classroom sizes, and the professors are accessible to students. Plattsburgh also has a diverse student population that adds a unique element to the college experience. In addition, there are many organizations that one can become a part of. My favorite is the Plattsburgh State Gospel Choir.

Interests and Hobbies: I love to meet new people, hang out with my friends, and travel to new places. While I am in Trinidad, I enjoy going to the beach and relaxing. Learning new things is always exciting too.

Why did you choose to come to Plattsburgh: A lot of friends attended the school and they told me wonderful things about it. I heard the HRTM program was excellent and that is what I wanted to major in. I also found the campus was beautiful.

What do you like best about Plattsburgh: The best thing about being in Plattsburgh is having wonderful experiences: seeing snow for the first time, and being in a place with so many international students from around the world.
