Partners in Cross Cultural Learning (PICL) Program
A Cultural Experience, a Learning Experience - an Authentic Experience!
PICL is a unique program that creates friendships between international students at SUNY Plattsburgh and volunteers from the campus and surrounding community.
International students will discover Plattsburgh with their partners, and will experience the richness of our campus and community.
Both student and community partners enrich their understanding of each other's culture.
Goals of the PICL Program
- To ease the transition of new international students to Plattsburgh and the surrounding community
- To allow community members the opportunity to experience the cultural richness found at SUNY Plattsburgh
- To develop a deeper appreciation of at least one other culture through sharing personal experiences and social activities
