Graduate Assistantship Opening in the Natural Science Program

Natural Science Teaching Assistantship

(Note: this position is to be filled for the 2008-2009 academic year)

Duties

• Serves as teaching assistant for up to 3 lab sections per semester in Biology, Chemistry or Environmental Science laboratory courses.
• Specific teaching duties depend on Arts and Sciences teaching needs and the student's area of expertise.
• Laboratory preparation duties will be assigned to the graduate assistant.
• Work with the lecturer for the course to insure continuity between lecture and lab.

Qualifications

• The student must be enrolled in the MALS Natural Science program or the M.S. in Natural Science program.
• The student must have sufficient background to teach the courses specified for each semester.
