Getting to SUNY Plattsburgh by Car from Southern New England (Massachusetts, Connecticut)
Directions
- Take the Massachusetts Turnpike to I-87 in New York State
- Take I-87 N to exit 24 (Albany)
- Pay toll and follow signs for Rte 87 North (Montreal)
- Take the Adirondack Northway (Interstate 87) north to exit 37 (Plattsburgh)
- Turn right at the traffic light and proceed east on Route 3
- Go 1 mile to where Route 3/Cornelia Street intersects at a "Y" with Broad Street
- Bear right on Broad Street
- At the third traffic light, turn right
- The Kehoe Administration Building will be directly in front of you
- You can park in the visitors' parking lot to the left, or proceed straight to the one next to Yokum Hall. If you did not receive a parking permit in your "information packet", please contact Admissions
- The Admissions Office is located on the 10th floor of the Kehoe Administration Building

- Bus (Greyhound) - The station is about one-half mile from the campus. Visit Greyhound online.
- Rail (Amtrak) - The station is in the city, near the lake and about a mile from the campus. Visit Amtrak online.
- Air (Continental Connections) - Roughly two miles from the campus, on Rte. 3. Visit Continental Airlines online.
