Women's Studies Faculty - Dr. Kay Branagan
Lecturer
Kay has been a SUNY Plattsburgh faculty member since 1989 and teaches in both the Africana Studies Program and the Women's Studies Department. Along with teaching Intro to Women's Studies and Lesbian and Gay Studies, her primary focus is her course, Women in Afghanistan, where she explores women's issues in Afghanistan and refugee issues in the surrounding region. In the AAS program, Kay also teaches Intro to the Black Experience and Southern Africa.
