Two $5,000 scholarships are available for SUNY students who plan to study at Bond University for the fall 2013 semester. Bond is a dynamic, comprehensive university ideally located on the Gold Coast of Australia. To apply for one of these extraordinary awards, please submit the Bond scholarship application along with a completed study abroad application by April 1, 2013. $3,000 in scholarships are available for Plattsburgh students who plan to study on a semester-length Plattsburgh study abroad program for the fall 2013 semester. We are honored to extend this generous gift from Dodie Giltz and her family, who been instrumental in the internationalization of our campus. To apply, please submit the Giltz Family Travel Award application along with a completed study abroad application by April 1, 2013. Only Plattsburgh students are eligible to receive these awards.

One $500 scholarship is available for a SUNY Plattsburgh participant on each of the short-term study abroad programs offered by SUNY Plattsburgh faculty in summer 2013. Mr. Rosenberg’s generous support of Plattsburgh’s study abroad programs is rooted in his desire to spread international understanding and peace. These awards honor his legacy as well as the extraordinary work of our globally minded faculty. To apply, please submit the Rosenberg Pathways to Peace application with the application for the faculty-led program in which you would like to participate. Applicants must submit their study abroad application by the appropriate deadline. Scholarship materials must be submitted by April 1, 2013 Only Plattsburgh students are eligible to receive these awards. One $500 scholarship is available for a SUNY Plattsburgh student who plans to study on a Plattsburgh study abroad program in the summer 2013 semester. A $1,500 scholarship is available for a SUNY Plattsburgh student who plans to study on a semester-length Plattsburgh study abroad program in the fall 2013 semester. As a distinguished former president of SUNY Plattsburgh, Dr. Horace Judson, and his accomplished wife, Dr. Gail Judson, endeavored to facilitate global education for all of our university’s students. We are honored to promote this award to qualified students with demonstrated financial need and/or those from backgrounds underrepresented on study abroad programs. To apply, please submit the Judson Endowed Scholarship application along with a completed study abroad application by April 1, 2013. Only Plattsburgh students are eligible to receive this award.

One $5000 per semester scholarship is available for a SUNY Plattsburgh student who plans to study abroad in Canada. The scholarship includes an allowance for in-country travel and health insurance, as well as travel and accommodation for an orientation in Ottawa and a spring seminar in Washington, D.C.
