Aschaffenburg University offers students a personal experience and small class sizes with approximately 2,100 students. The campus is beautifully situated with historic and modern buildings, along with inviting outdoor areas. The university also has excellent connections to the German economic and business community.
In addition to the fall and spring options, there is a new 2013 summer program in Aschaffenburgh, Germany. The program focuses on business and is only available for SUNY Plattsburgh students. Classes are available in business administration, engineering, and law. English is the language of instruction for business, while all other classes are taught in German. For more information on business courses please review the current course offerings at Aschaffenburg.
Study abroad students have access to on-campus housing, which offers modern facilities where students a single room and their own bathroom facilities. Spaces are limited, so please plan to apply early.
Aschaffenburg is centrally located in Bavaria, approximately 20 miles from Frankfurt. Munich can be reached in approximately 2.5 hours and Berlin in about 4.5. The population of Aschaffenburg is approximately 70,000 people and is well known for castles, parks and museums.
