SUNY Plattsburgh is proud of its prestigious relationships with its Australian partner institutions, several of which repeatedly rank amongst the best in the world and all of which are world reknowned for their excellence. Australia offers a unique opportunity for studying abroad. Since the country is English-speaking, US students easily find courses that correpsond to what you need to take at home. At the same time, however, having the English language in common does not mean that you will be spared from culture shock. Australians have their own distinct culture. Many Americans describe Australians as easy going, seemingly unstressed and yet very hard working and efficient.
