Additional Degree Requirements:

  1. It is required for incoming freshmen entering this program to have three units of high school science.
  2. A minimum overall GPA of 2.5 and a 2.0 for each course in section A is required.
  3. All students must complete the General Education courses required under the catalog of entry to SUNY Plattsburgh.
  4. All students must earn a minimum of 120 total credits.
  5. All students must complete the American College of Sports Medicine® (ACSM) Certified Personal Trainer Certification prior to taking PED401-Fitness Field Experience I
  6. All students must meet the required Fitness Field Experiences I-IV and all clinical rotations
