The sociology minor allows students to explore a wide range of topics to fit their own interests. Students will take Introduction to Sociology, Sociological Theory and Research Methods to gain an understanding of the underlying principles of sociology, and can then choose from courses in different areas, such as Sociology of Families, Sociology of Minorities, and Juvenile Delinquency.
A sociology minor is compatible with many different majors on campus. It will help you to understand the society in which you live, and how the structures of society impact you and others.
