Art Therapy Minor
About the Art Therapy Minor
The Art Therapy Minor is a useful complement to the Psychology Major or Psychology Minor for students who wish to pursue a Master's degree in art therapy. The 24-credit minor follows the American Art Therapy Association guidelines for undergraduate study, and provides students with knowledge and experience that will enhance their applications to Art Therapy programs. The minor includes an introductory course, three introductory studio art courses, one upper-level studio art course, and a practicum in art therapy.
To find out more, contact the Art Therapy Minor coordinators, Rick Mikkelson and Jeanne Ryan , and visit the Art Therapy Program website.
