Minor in Philosophy
Minor in Philosophy (21 credits)
This 21 credit program (7 courses) requires one introductory course (PHI 102 Introduction to Philosophy, PHI 210 History of Western Philosophy to 1500, or PHI 211 History of Western Philosophy from 1500) one logic course (typically PHI 213 Symbolic Logic), and one course course from the History of Philosophy and one on a Problem in Philosophy. Students will complete the remaining 9 credits as electives chosen in consultation with an advisor.
Many students find this minor to be a valuable complement to their major in business, education, science, or one of the other liberal arts.
