I teach fall semester Bio 101, a highly integrated lecture/laboratory course that is based on experiential learning and current literature. Incoming freshmen may enroll in this course as members of the biology science cluster that includes courses in biology, English, library skills and chemistry. I also teach Bio 205, Plant and Fungal Biology, and Bio 334, Transgenic Plants in alternate fall semesters. I team-teach (with Janice Marchut Conrad) Bio 490, a 15-credit undergraduate research course that is unique within the SUNY system.
