Facilities and Cadet Training
Facilities
|
SUNY Plattsburgh ROTC is located at Sibley Hall on the main campus. Our program has the unique opportunity to take advantage of WORLD CLASS training facilities located in Vermont such as UVM's recreational facilities, Camp Johnson and Ethan Allen Firing Range.

Cadet Training
SUNY Plattsburgh cadets have opportunities to experience training that other students rarely get to experience such as Airborne Training (parachuting), Air Assault Training (helicopter operations training), Mountain Warfare School (moutaineering), and Cadet Troop Leadership Training (CTLT).
During the academic year cadets also participate in activities such as rappelling, cold weather training, field training exercises (FTXs), and leadership labs. Cadets can also participate in SUNY Plattsburgh's own Color Guard, and the Ranger Challenge team with UVM.
