Professional Staff
Monday - Friday: 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
If you would like to meet with a professional staff to discuss a particular concern, please contact us to schedule an appointment. You can reach the department's Office Coordinator, Sandi Layhee, at (518) 564-6138. She will be more than happy to direct you to the staff member who will best be able to address your questions and concerns.
Math, Statistics, & Writing Walk-In Hours
- Monday-Thursday: 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m.
Sunday: 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
Walk-In Tutoring is available for MATH 101, 102, 161, 221, 222, 224, and 225 as well as writing assignments for any course. You are welcome to stop by the Learning Center during these hours to meet with a tutor. Find our more about Walk-In Tutoring.
Please note: Evening Walk-In Hours will begin on Monday, Febraury 4th and Afternoon Walk-In Hours will begin on Monday, Feburary 11th.
Individual, Double, and Small Group Tutoring Hours
- Monday-Thursday: 10:00 a.m.-9:00 p.m.
- Friday: 10:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.
- Sunday: 6:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m.
Individual, Double, and Small Group Tutoring is available on an appointment only basis. To make an appointment, please stop by the Learning Center Front Desk during the above hours. Find out more about Individual, Double, and Small Group Tutoring.
Please note: You can begin making appointments on Monday, February 4th and will be held beginning Wednesday, February 6th.
Open Study
- Monday-Thursday: 8:00 a.m. - 2:00 a.m.
- Friday: 8:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m.
- Saturday: 12:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m.
- Sunday: 12:00 p.m.-2:00 a.m.
During Open Study hours the Learning Center is open for use by all members of the SUNY College at Plattsburgh community. The Learning Center is an ideal place to work individually or in small groups. Find out more about Open Study.
