Adolescence Study Option

Our Adolescence Study Option Allows You To:

Bachelor of Science (B.S.) Human Development & Family Relations, Study Option in Adolescence (54 credits)

The study option in adolescence prepares students for careers related to adolescents and young adults in public and private human service agencies. Examples of courses include adolescence in society; introductory and applied counseling techniques; psychology of adolescence, youth, and early adulthood; and juvenile delinquency: cross cultural perspectives. One semester of full-time supervised field work in a human service agency is also an integral part of the curriculum.
