Notes:
The Institutional TOEFL is given at the beginning and end of the semester. All students are required to take these tests because they help determine placement for the following semester. Students pay a $40 fee for the two TOEFL exams. Students may go on to full-time study in general education or major courses with a C in advanced-level Bridge courses or a 540 on the TOEFL.
A student meets with his/her academic adviser mid semester to discuss the schedule for the following semester. Although the student then registers on Banner, the schedule is tentative at this point. The final schedule can only be determined when final grades and TOEFL scores are in at the end of the semester. The student's registration will be adjusted at that time.
