Sarah graduated with the Outstanding Graduating Senior award in Environmental Science in 2003. In the short time since leaving Plattsburgh State, she has landed a job with the New York State Dept. of Environmental Conservation as a liaison on water quality issues, especially dealing with stormwater runoff, to town and county planning agencies in the Lake Champlain, Lake George watershed, formally organized as the Lake Champlain - Lake George Regional Planning Board. Sarah returned to Plattsburgh State in April of 2004 to present a talk on "Stormwater in the Champlain Basin", which was sponsored by our Earth and Environmental Science Club. Sarah attributes much of her success on such a promising start to her career to her training and coursework at Plattsburgh State.
