The Financial Aid Office at SUNY Plattsburgh is your first stop for information about financial assistance at both the undergraduate and graduate level.
The Financial Aid Office processes over $55 million in financial assistance each academic year. Aid is offered from federal, state, institutional and private programs. In order to be determined for financial aid eligibility, including student loans, students must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) once each year.
For more information on financial aid opportunities at SUNY Plattsburgh, please visit the Financial Aid Office website.
The Teacher Education Unit has a number of scholarships available to both undergraduate and graduate education majors.
Undergraduate applications for scholarships are generally due in the Teacher Education Unit Administrative Office (Room 302 Sibley) in March of each year.
Plan to stop by the office in early February for more information and an application form.
To qualify, undergraduate students must meet the following qualifications:
For graduate students, SUNY Plattsburgh offers approximately 25 graduate assistantships each year and up to 5 graduate diversity fellowships.
