Careers in Literacy Education
What Can You Do With a Degree in Literacy Education?
Graduates in the literacy education program can go on to pursue careers as:
- a literacy professional in the classroom (early-childhood teacher, elementary school teacher, middle and secondary school teacher, special education teacher, and adult-education teacher);
- a specialized reading professional (school or district reading specialist, reading coordinator);
- an allied professional (related service professional);
- a literacy coach.
